On February 19th, Pastor Southall III and his congregation of First Emanuel Baptist Church learned they would receive a much-needed blessing. ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and DonahueFavret Contractors, Inc. will join forces to repair, restore and make enhancements to their house of worship, which was badly damaged by Hurricane Katrina. It is our hope that this project will not only give Pastor Southall and his congregation a beautiful place to return to worship, but also a renewed spirit and belief that the City of New Orleans will rebuild. |
