Citizens Savings Bank is a full service banking institution committed to growth and technology, yet still providing the personal touch of a “hometown bank.” DonahueFavret Contractors was contracted to construct the bank's corporate headquarters, architecturally designed to be a replica of the distinguished Madewood Plantation in Napoleonville, Louisiana. The exterior finishes of traditional cement plaster over metal lath and 27 foot wood columns featuring a brick paved balcony and 8 foot French doors create an almost exact copy of the 19th century mansion.

Inside, brick and marble floors, teller counters, ornate wall coverings and custom millwork complete the luxurious lobby. The boardroom features tide water cypress walls and antique pine floors. The bank was designed to include two fireproof record vaults as well as a solid concrete safety deposit and cash vault. The building also includes five drive-thru teller lanes. The beauty and design of this location on Highway 21 is truly a landmark in the Bogalusa community.
