DonahueFavret Contractors was chosen by Decatur Grill, L.L.C.
to convert an old abandoned building in the French Quarter
into a popular Creole restaurant and bar. The project totaled
$900,000 and covered 4,200 square feet. DFC began by demolishing
the existing concrete floor and reconstructing the edifice
to accommodate all mechanical and electrical needs. The existing
masonry walls and wood beams were cleaned and sealed to retain
the true character of the building. The interior buildout
included installation of top of the line restaurant kitchen
equipment and a state of the art lighting system for the
bar and dining area. Belle Forche' was successfully completed
in only 150 days.
