DonahueFavret Contractors, Inc. is proud to have been chosen as the contractor by the Lauricella Land Company for the new Cost Plus World Market located in Jefferson, LA. The design build project was managed by Robert F. Favret, Executive Vice President for DonahueFavret Contractors, Inc. who collaborated with Chip Verges of Morton Verges Architects in the design of the 18,500 sf building under beam and 120,000 sf of concrete paving. The building consisted of a steel frame with masonry bearing walls. EIFS and attractively designed glass elements were used at the entry. DFC was exceptionally proud of the "0" item punch list returned by the Cost Plus Project Manager upon completion. The $2,500,000 project was successfully completed in only 153 calendar days.
